Q. What can my wife, non-hunting partner do in New Zealand while I'm hunting / fishing?
A.
New Zealand has lots to offer with so much coastline, awe-inspiring mountains ranges, pristine rivers and lakes and all within a short drive. In the past clients non-hunting companions have enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at our New Zealand hunting lodging either reading books, “getting to know the locals”, enjoying a New Zealand farming experience or visiting nearby locations and tourist sights. Daily excursions can be provided.  Visit our links page to view tourist websites with details of activities avaiable in the differenct regions of New Zealand.

Q. What is the New Zealand lodging like?
A. A lot of people ask this question who intend to travel with their non-hunting companions. This will also depend slightly on the animals sought and the style of New Zealand hunting chosen. For example, NZ free range hunting tahr and chamois may be in a hut, bivvy or even under a tent fly.
While hunting on our main New Zealand ranch guests will be hosted with Jan & Craig in their station house in a farm stay set up. Guests have their own bedrooms but share toilet and bathroom facilities. Meals are home cooked. More luxurious New Zealand accommodation can be arranged if desired. If the later option is chosen their will be extra travel required between your accommodation and the NZ hunting area. See our NZ accommodation page for more details.
