Comment: Himalayan Tahr makes an impressive mount with their bushy winter coat. The hunt is on one of our large South Island Ranches. These animals can only be hunted on the South Island of New Zealand.

Dates: Late April till August is best but animals can be hunted year round.
5. Tahr (or Chamois) NZ Hunting Package

Comment: This hunt is on private New Zealand high country ranch land. Hunts on New Zealand public land camping under tent or bivvy are also available. For information about these tahr or chamois hunts please contact us directly.

Dates: Late April till August is best but animals can be hunted year round with New Zealand summer hunts being very productive for meat hunting.

Comment: Wanting the experience and aren't worried about getting the biggest New Zealand trophy animals? This package would suit you. Once your New Zealand stag is harvested the option to hunt another stag, fallow buck, goats or pigs will be available. Trout fishing also available. Two hours drive out of Wellington, New Zealand's capital city.
